You need to make sure that any expensive items are covered and this could mean a separate or more improved policy cover.

You need to look after your belongings and bags as failure to do so may invalidate your insurance policy. If you’re not carrying the item with you or it is not locked away, then it may not be covered by a travel insurance policy.
