Market For Travel Stays Unchanged

Spending on travel insurance and currency has, according to a study by Post Office Insurance, gone up over the last two months, somewhat unexpectedly considering the general economy.

Post Office Insurance sales have remained the same for travel insurance while their foreign currency figures are up by over three percent for the last two months. It is thought that in some instances the holidays were already booked and also that people are looking to escape the pressures they are facing by taking a holiday while they can.

The fact that it is the traditional holiday destinations that are proving most popular, places like Spain, France and Greece, supports the Post Office insurance idea that people are taking holidays while they can. Such countries are relatively close by and so can cater for a weekend break or longer holidays.
