The Post Office is advising all holidaymakers to make sure they take travel insurance with them when travelling abroad, and that if they don’t it could leave them out of pocket.
It has been revealed that many holidaymakers take as much as 1,000 pounds worth of valuables along with them on holiday; and many are not to take out sufficient cover for protection.
Reducing or nor take out any travel insurance can seem as though its and easy way to save money when going on holiday. But if the unlikely happens you could face a costly bill, if you’re not covered.
The average value of a suitcase is just over 1,000 pounds with a women’s being a little more expensive than that of a male.
