Property prices are on the increase says Nationwide

According to Nationwide the house insurance and mortgage specialist, property prices have increased during November.

According to the latest house price index it now shows that the average value of a home in the UK is around £162,764. When compared to the average price in October that was £162,038.

A spokes person from the company now seems to think that the average property price is now at a similar level to ones that where recorded in 2006. House prices are now showing a small increase from month to month and the lows of 2009.

The future for the housing market is very dependent on the labour market situation.
