Younger Drivers Going Green
Esure car insurance has found through a recent survey that support for eco-friendly vehicles comes from younger people more than older ones.
The esure survey found that over 8 out of 10 drivers aged 25 and under would seriously consider driving a bio fuel, electric or hybrid vehicle. This is a sterling performance from the younger drivers and highlights their awareness of green issues and the options available for reducing carbon emissions.
Such vehicles are relatively rare on British roads still, though adoption is likely to increase as more pressures are placed on regular fuel vehicles. This may also help car insurance premiums for these new types of vehicle come down since at the moment they are relatively high. This is mainly down to higher costs of repair.
