Oh No Says ASA Not Oh Yes
Churchill Insurance, with the bulldog that says Oh Yes, has seen a complaint about their advertising upheld by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).
A viewer complained to the ASA as they felt the advertisement suggested a Churchill Insurance customer could make a claim without having to fill any forms in. Upon checking the situation the ASA found that around one in five customers do need to complete a form and this was deemed enough to see the complaint upheld.
Taking on board these findings Churchill Insurance have redone their television advertisements to avoid this misunderstanding happening again.
